Collard Teriyaki Shrimp Wraps

Ordering out is not necessary when you can pull together this delicious wholesome meal. It’s all in the mindset in order to eat to live you must make veggies a daily part of your life! 

Here is one of my favorite recipes that my family loves. 

Ingredients: 

1 Whole Collard Green

1/2 lb Shrimp 🍤 

2 cups Broccoli 🥦 

1 cup Mushroom 🍄 

2 Red peppers  🌶 

1 Garlic clove 🧄 

Instructions: 

In one pan add 1 tbsp of cold press olive oil. Let heat up for about 1 minute. Add you chopped veggies and seasoning of your choice to the pan. I used Garlic & Herb seasoning, garlic powder, 2 tbsp of onion pieces. Cracked pepper and sea salt. Let simmer and stir constantly for 10 minutes.

 In another pan 1/2 cup of water, 1tsp of liquid smoke, 1 tbsp of brown sugar bourbon sauce seasoning, 3 tbsp of teriyaki sauce. Add these seasonings in the pan with the shrimp and let cook for 20 minutes. 

In the pan with the veggies add your shrimp together and stir. Let simmer for 5 minutes. 

You can add brown rice or white rice. In this dish I used quinoa as my base. 

Add the Collard to your plate, add 1/2 cup of rice and 1/2 cup of the shrimp veggies. Wrap & Enjoy!
