Waffle Delight

Waffles are my thing! Light, Fluffy, Delicious and you can pair them with just about any food group! Ego Waffles was a hit in my parents home growing up as a kid and it was a hit in my home with my family.

One day my son wanted waffles for breakfast, we were out of the Ego waffles so I decided to take matters in my hands and make my own. Best decision ever! From that day it’s been a staple that my family loves.

The ingredients are simple and it takes less than 20 minutes to serve them up! Let’s dive into the recipe:

Items: Waffle Maker/Iron and a good Blender

Ingredients:

1 Cup of Oats

1 Medium Banana

1 Tsp of  Almond Extract

1 Tsp of Baking Powder

1 Tsp of Cinnamon

Pinch of Sea Salt

3/4 cup of Unsweetened Almond Milk

2 Tbsp of Maple Syrup

Directions:

Place All ingredients in Blender and blend until smooth. Pour 1/2 ingredients onto Heated Waffle Iron. Waffle Iron should be lightly sprayed with Avocado Oil. Close lid and allow to cook for 10 minutes depending on the temperature of your Waffle Iron.

Once done remove from Waffle maker, place on plate and enjoy with your favorite fruits.

I paired mine with sautéed veggies, plant sausage and strawberries on top of my waffle! Enjoy 😉
